Diana Diana Model 52 used price

Their guns don't have a scope stop
This can't be. All Diana rifles produced after 1980 are designed for stop scope. You are probably confusing the screw at the end of the Diana dovetail, which is often cut off by the scope mount and is now missing. This screw has nothing to do with the scope stop.I can't explain everything right now, but there are at least two sсоpe stop options that I use.

Someone said no more 48,52,54,56..I have a 52 .177 I wish it was a .22.That said it is a powerful accurate rifle, you need the 10-20degree one piece mount and a strong springer scope...the stock sights are also good. $300 or so. ,it and my Tomahawk are my most powerful springers. Mine needed the 4 screws, one piece 20-degree mount; this springers are hard on scopes, the fact is one of the more famous scope killers. Anyhow you got a lot of information now.Good Luck and best wishes

It has two stops, but they are very shallow.

I can count on this 52 .25 to shoot sub 1” at 75 yards using 20.14 FTT. It’s great with 16 grain GTO & 25.43 Kings. The 20.14 are best from what I have seen at distance.
I wouldn’t mind a butt hook & a custom lefty stock. Full new fitted seal and spring. It’s over 20 but probably less than 2K shots.

I have a 48 in .177 (for 30+ years), and a 52 in .22 that I recently bought off of a client for $50 (it had a bent bear trap release lever and he had let it sit for years in the back of his safe. It actually predates my 48). The 48 and 52 models are basically identical besides the stock. My 48 in .177 is an absolute tack driver and has taken small game out to 60 yards. The 52 I just got back together not long ago after receiving parts from Germany. I put a Leupold VX3 on top and she is pulling duty as pest control now that spring is in the air and so is love for all the nuisances.

You would do well hunting with either caliber in full power, but I have also seen them tuned down with a simple Vortex kit and they are quite gentlemanly.

One of the nice things about the Diana sidelevers is that, even though they are on the heavy side, you can very easily add a sling to them for walking the fields (or desert in my case). The extra weight also helps with steadying offhand shots.

I think you’d enjoy a 52 in .177, especially at such a reasonable price! They aren’t making any more of them and they’re just getting more rare.

What size is that scope? Any problems interfering with loading a pellet?

Bushnell 2.5x10 30mm FFP. No problem. Loading gate completely open. Now the FWB 602 Is a PITA to scope. Spent $300 for a little Beeman/Hako Blue Ribbon 1.5-4 and that’s about all I can do unless I get a shorter gate and a riser.

Yes I did see a BSA Meteor Super GTR.22 made in Birmingham for around $170, but after researching it found out it had a Gamo trigger. I would think that it probably has a Gamo gas ram as well. Had a cold forged barrel. I watched some reviews and accuracy appeared only so so. I figured you can get a bone collector with similar wood stock and the Swarm system so passed on that one.
"BSA Meteor Super GTR.22 made in Birmingham for around $170"

That would be exactly $169.99 too much!
An Absolute DOG accuracy wise
