Diana Diana Model 75 a little disappointing

I just got a diana model 75 yesterday, it looks very nice so I think it is ready to shoot. I spend about an hour to cleaning and oil it up to made she looks prettier. The wood stock is very good and the bluing is shiny, cocking is smooth and I really like the cocking sound, the trigger is very light. I was very excited and I fired it, and then the pellet didn't move. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I really like the rifle, but I know model 75 is hard to repair especially that I have two stupid hands.

Just got my new one yesterday too! Same issue but I knew it needed a rebuild going into it and the seals show up tomorrow. They are fantastic when the pellet actually leaves the barrel though!

model 75 giss system , you really really better know what your doing before you tackle that rebuild .
I'm a sucker for punishment lol. I've read everything out there on it that I could find and it really doesn't seem all that bad. Just have to be careful. I've rebuilt cylinder heads on Toyotas and Mercedes and everything in-between so I'm not going to let a little pellet gun scare me

You have good skills, but im not really. I wish good luck to you and please let me know the results. Thanks.

Rebuilt / Serviced MANY of the Diana GISS guns. There are some tutorials out there for a first timer if you search.
TAKE PICTURES post touching anything !!!
Once inside pay attention to the pistons and there wear sleeves orientation ... this is where most have trouble !!!

ARH has Seal sets & springs

Yes sir. I did some reserch and I cant find any good rebuild video. So, I send a email to airgunwerk to ask him for helping me rebuild the rifle.
the problem is the giss system has two cylinders going in two opposite direction and both have to end at the exact timing or it does not work .

I ordered the seals from ARH but did NOT order a spring set because I couldn't find it on his website. After reading your comment I went back and sure enough, there it is. Ive read a lot of threads saying I probably will not need springsbut those people are not you and would like your opinion there. Should I just get them coming?

I only see two guys have some videos on there youtube channel. But the videos are not clear enough and make me confused. I can rebuild my FX Impact, but this one got me scared.

Kinda as it should ... Once you know how & done them a few times it is a lot easier. There is a VERY SPECIFIC way they go together & work, as they will assemble with pistons & wear sleeves not oriented correctly. You never know you F'ed up until finding action won't full cock & lock up in battery.

Good luck,
Scott

i would send it to motorhead and never look back !!!
Thought Motörhead was still on R&R? Mine shoots beautifully. Accurate and on spec but given breech seal condition it won’t for long if I keep shooting it. Soon as the holiday shipping fiasco I mean rush is over I’m going to send mine out. I have the same shop manual as Northwoods22 and enough brains to not use it LOL. Very complex piece of machinery with limited availability of some parts. I’ll gladly pay to have someone that’s done it before work on it. The few shots I put through it were amazing. Looking forward to many FWB 300S versus Diana 75 spousal challenges :)
