Bought a Gen 2 Syn Stormrider .22 from PA about a month ago - $220. The quality is better than I expected!.
Will use it for plinking and pesting under 30 yds.
Things I like:
1. Plenty of power - max of 865 with JSB 15.89, max of 931 with Hobby 11.9. (To me, that is frk'n hauling!)
2. Decent shot count - 35 with JSB 15.89. Velocity near 760 fps after 35 shots.
3. Decent accuracy off hand and from a bipod with open sights. 1" groups at 25 yds. Perfect for pesting. It likes JSB 15.89 (no surprise).
4. The open sights are NOT total crap! You can actually adjust them and they hold. I want open sights for quick acquisition. No scope on this gun.
5. Very light gun. Only 4.6 lbs and 40" long.
6. Diana magazines cycle through smoothly.
7. Trigger is pretty nice. Absolutely no complaints and I don't even want to adjust it. It's much better than my Diana Chaser trigger.
8. The stock is synthetic but it's very solid. It doesn't feel hollow or sound hollow.

My gun with buck rail barrel band ($18) and a cheap bi-pod
