Did an air gun do this to my double glazed window? Note: no pellets or bullets found inside or out. No damage to the inner glazing unit.
Something to give a scale of the damage is needed.
Say a ruler near the holes.
1st picture, given the size of the hole could be a BB.
The others are not indictive of BB's or pellets.

5mm could have been a .177 BB
But the last two photos just don't look like BB holes or impacts.

if it didnt penetrate to the interior walls, highly likely its a pellet gun .. likely theres flattened lead splatters to the sides or back out to 10 foot or so ... could be bb but looks pretty hard hit to be that unless it was close like 10yds or something ...

Reminds me of when I got my first pump action BB gun, shooting a box in the backyard and the BBs went right through and pinged my neighbors basement window. I lost my paper route money for a year...

Looks like a pellet or BB gun to me. BB's are made of steel and will break a window very easy, even out of a low powered gun.
If that's multiple shots at your window, I'd say you probably pissed off a kid in the neighborhood. If they were missed shots at game up in trees, they wouldn't have a straight on hit, plus the pellet loses a decent amount of power arching through the air. It would need to be pretty close of a shot to do that to thick glass from a pellet coming down. If you're in the UK, sub 12 fpe guns don't carry power too far.
It only takes like 2 fpe to break glass with a straight on shot.

5.5mm is 22 caliber, 6.35mm is 1/4"how many inches is 5mm?
It's either a BB, a 177 or possibly a 20 cal.

OK. I'd almost bet it was a BB Gun. The BB's would probably be found near the window.
Glass like that does crack due to the stresses in manufacturing such glass. (Worked at PPG for a few years)
I'd get a good magnet and sweep the yard or maybe a metal detector.

I'd lean towards the wadcutters being the culprit.
Most likely scenario; a person(probably a kid) shot once and then was thinking oh it didn't break BREAK; next shot actually broke and then they fled.
Are we taking bets like the pcp plunges?
