I ordered the RusBear a few days ago. I guess I’ll see how quick the Russian Post Office is hopefully is better than ours. The reasons I went with Rusbear is I like the idea of being able to look through the scope while filming. Even in moderate sunlight I have difficulty seeing the screen on my camera or cell phone. The Hajimoto system. Which is similar to Rusbear has to be tweaked more than I want to get into and when you add the cost of a GoPro the price is slightly more for what I believe is a work in progress that may not work as well as Rusbear . What I just wrote is my conclusion based on what I’ve seen on different gun blogs and YouTube. Ted Biers system has a $1000 Camera and is more than I want to spend. The camera included in the Rusbear package is similar in design to the GoPro it’s a Ekin S8 Pro on line by itself is around $150.00 as a camera it seems to be of decent quality. The scope I’ll be initially mounting on is a Hawke Sidewinder 6-24X56 on my FX Crown, in the future if it’s doable I may try it on other rifles and handguns (red dot sights). I’ll let all that are interested know how it works out and how well Nickolay (Rusbear inventor) supports his customers. I was told it would be a week or two before it arrives so if that hold true I’ll probably have something to report in late October. I’ve never done YouTube review myself but my Olympus camera has a video mode that I can christen .
