Did i get rid off? Euros to dollars help/advice pls

(Solved, my mistake was thinking E sign was euros, but I guess it was pound to USD and everything checked out. I just thought I got ripped off cause I was thinking their prices was in euros)

So I bought an eagle vision gopro mount from eagle vision. It was 331 euros total with shipping. I just checked my bank account. Eagle vision took out $430.23 from my bank account. Like wtf. Did I just got robbed? Cause I google 331 euros and that is suppose to be $357.89. So why did eagle vision charge me $430.23? I did not want to pay that much for just a mounting system, doesn't even include the gopro. Hmmmmm. Is my euro to USD incorrect or what? Kinda feel bummed dang.

You reference your bank account so I assume you paid by a transfer or other direct debit from your account. If so, what fees did your bank add for processing an international transaction? What fees for currency exchange?
Idk. But if it's fee, that's a pretty high fee. Almost like 1/4 of the price of the time. Damn. I probably never order from oversea again if fee is this high. So I check my bank. It's wells Fargo. They say their foreign fee is 3%. So why did eagle vision charge my $430? 3$ of 357 is only $10. Seem like I was charge about $73. Wtf doesn't make any sense to me. I am not gonna buy from them or overseas anymore. Feel like I'm being rip off cause when I order I didn't expect to pay $430 for just a gopro mount that doesn't even include the gopro.

Unfortunately looks about correct. Pounds to usd plus the banks fee of 3% for converting the funds. Lands right at your total you were charged.
Idk anything about pounds. I thought the E sign means euros. So their item is more expensive than I thought? Damn if I knew I wouldn't bought it. Should of gone with sideshot. $430 for a mount is pretty high imo.

You were charged pounds sterling, not euros. Check that exchange rate, BTW, everything purchased in the UK is a ripoff in my experience
What the hell is the E sign for? I thought it was euros. If I knew pounds is a different amount I wouldn't bought it. $430 for a mount lol should of gone with sideshot.

Euros: €

Pounds: £
Ok sorry my bad guys. I just thought the E sign means euros. Damn European and their currency so confusing lol. Now I learned my lesson. I just thought I got ripped off since when I order I thought it was euros. I check for pounds to dollars and it seem I was charged the right amount. But still $430 for a mount is damn too much.

Problem solved. Thanks guys.

There is a bit more to it than a mount. Eagle Vision stuff is quality, so you can take solace in that. I LOVE their adjustable mounts, just not enough love to buy many of them, only when absolutely necessary.

education cost him money, did not know the difference, maybe needs glasses
Euro
€,,, by holding alt and type in the number pad 0128
Pound sterling
£, alt,,, 0163 on the number pad
I don't need glasses. I can see the E sign. Its just we Americans are not familiar with euros or pound or whatever they used oversea. I just thought all Europe use euros and the E sign stands for euro. Why the hell would the make an E sign for pounds. Should change their sign to P sign lol. Didn't make any sense to me for pound to be an E sign. There is no E in pounds. This is why I hate ordering stuff over sea. May be my last time ordering oversea.

I've been AMERICAN for 72 yrs I only have a HS education, but I know the difference between them
knowledge vs unknowing,,, as for knowing the "why the hell make an E sign for Pounds" comment I don't know or care
but they are SYMBOLS and not the letter E
now you know also, we all make mistakes, it is a learning process,,, I have made more than my share
I've showed you how to make € , EURO
