Did I make a big mistake? I bought a Yong Heng compressor from China!!

Sorry if I am confusing everyone here with my predicament with foster hose compatibility. I will say that I use an Air Venturi male foster to female 1/8" bspp with all my fill probes. I have found the male side is compatibly with my Joe B. female foster and with the Tuxing air filter. I have ordered a couple of the Air Venturi fittings and one other to see if I can solve the problem. When I get everything together I will make a complete video to show the problem with those using an Joe. B's foster fittings and hopefully the fix. Anyway this whole topic on the Yong Heng has been a great influence in my decision to buy this compressor and a wealth of information. Bill

I would stick to what is recommended. Running a lube that is too thin or thick will lock up the lower end of the compressor or where out the rings on the piston.

ISO 100 is the equivalent of SAE 30 weight motor oil. I’m sure that is a suitable oil for your compressor. It is however a synthetic blend, and I would go with 100% synthetic if I were you.

As Centercut suggests, go with a fully synthetic fluid. I've definitely noticed some blowby of pump fluid past the 1st stage piston rings into the 2nd stage where it inevitably combusts and deposits carbon black on the semi-metal seals. It's just messy to clean off and seems to lessen as your pump breaks in - or at least, that's been the case with mine.

My thinking is to make this post as a resource for others thinking about getting this compressor. I also show the two QD fitting I bought to get it to work with my Great White tank's male foster fitting. Bill

Has anyone had the gauge on the Yong Heng compressor blow out the little black rubber piece on the side of the gauge?

Gee wiz consider this please, before you ruin your air guns please. The compressor has moisture you should be buying or building a inline filter before your tank dry clean air is important for the health of your air guns. contaminated air will destroy them air with oil and water moisture even slight moisture will do harm yes there is a small filter I do know that. I just wish Mr Brancato, Mr Eutsler or the folks at Air Gun Depot, Pyramid air, the God Father wonder what his thoughts are? I wish they would speak to the problems of compressors of lower prices and why you do have pay more for other types of quality compressors. and Joe Brancato should address the filtering options for these compressors I do know this will not be rock bottom cheep I do think reasonable. I am not down on a good deal, I always say: "if it free it's for me". I only see major repair bills and tank replacements. Yes this does affect the life and safety of the tanks, this could all be bad air. All tanks should be inspected, pressure tested, and dated.

Why do only cheap compressors produce moisture?
You should invest in a high pressure filter no matter whether it’s cheap or expensive. 
Sorry but I don’t fall for Joe’s sales talk about why his super expensive Alpha filter is the only one that works either. There are several others such as the Diablo or the DIY Gold.
