Yep, and I hear once it is plucked it’s advisable to spray it with PlastiDip to hold all of the pieces in place.

The apache cases are the only thing worth buying at harbor freight. The rest of the stuff they sell is just garbage.

I've been meaning to buy a couple for firearms but missed the sale. I'm sure black friday deals will include the apache cases.

They ARE great cases!
I have 3 of them and I think you could park your truck on one and not damage the contents of the case.
What no one has really mentioned though is that after you put a gun & some accessories in there....OMG..... this thing is really HEAVY!

I think we've got one of those contraptions around here you weigh your suitcases with before taking them to the airport.
If I can find it in the morning I'll get photo's of weighing my cases w/contents for your viewing pleasure.

Your average MAC 1 Hunter with scope & FT accessories: Approx. 35.22 lbs.
Your average Red Wolf .22 HP with scope & acessories: Approx. 34.15 lbs.
I didn't bother to weigh the Anschutz 9015 in the black case on the bottom. It weighs roughly the same as the other two.
So.....roughly 20 lbs. of gun and attached equipment & roughly 15 lbs. (give or take) on the case.
Eat your Wheaties gentlemen!
