Airforce Different Valves give VERY different results.

I have been slowly making my way through turning an older .22 Talon SS into a FrankenTalon. I put a Huben Power Cricket Z valve and an Acecare Fat 1.1L bottle and with minimal tuning was throwing H&N Barracude Match at 850 FPS (also the original bottle and valve). So I next went down the path of a high flow valve and a Huben Power MAX-ATH with the 50cc plenum. The results were disappointing to say the least, 250FPS.

The sound of the hammer strike is muted so my assumption is that the valve isn't getting stuck hard enough. Is there an adjustment to the valve or hammer that I'm missing? Same issue with Chinese valves and Trajectron High Flow valve.

Not sure offhand the weight of the stock hammer. I'd be careful with aftermarket hammers, though. Might beat the piss out of the valve. Have seen valves messed up by overly heavy hammers if the valve spring is too light. I would assume their valves are made for the stock hammer weight + extra hammer weight. I would try that first and see what you get and then move on to the 75g and beyond if needed.

The aftermarket 3625 psi Afrtermarket valves from trajectron and talon tunes need there heavy spring and hammer weight 110 to 115 gram...Im using a trajectron valve and a doug noble condor valve with heavy spring and 110 gram hammer in a .222 in a 26 inch barrel 1040 fps with 55 grain slugs possible.. I just shot 1284 fps with noble valve and .223 NSA 36 grain slug....
