Results DIFTA Match Report Saturday, May 20, 2023

Twelve shooters turned out for the MD State championship at DIFTA. This was a 72-shot match with an average difficulty of 30.9 T, with seven targets in the expert category of 40-50 T, including a 0.75” at 37 yards, and our usual mix of 3/8” and 0.5” close up targets. We had nearly perfect shooting conditions with the temperature climbing from 62-70° over the match, with almost no wind, and enough light through the tree canopy to make most targets easily visible.

The match high score of 69/72 was shot by Brian VanLiew in Open Division. Greg White took the lead in Hunter Division sharing the 2nd highest score of the day of 63/72 with Mark King who led WFTF.

As always many thanks to those who travel long distances to compete and keep our sport alive
