I need to disable the automatic safety function of my older Air Force gun, as it causes it to misfire when I put in a heavier spring and matching high output valve.
I know it's more complex than on the newer model where you just pop out a pin and a little elbow shaped piece falls out and that's it. Can anyon explain how to do this, or lead me to a post, or make a little diagram or something? I'm stumped, and I haven't had much experience dealing with small intricate mechanisms so may need extra clarification.
I think someone else is going to help me figure this out so your suggestions here (and then what I learned in the end which I will also post here) will help anyone else who is in a similar situation trying to modify these older guns.
