Tuning Disabling auto safety on an older Air Force gun?

I need to disable the automatic safety function of my older Air Force gun, as it causes it to misfire when I put in a heavier spring and matching high output valve.

I know it's more complex than on the newer model where you just pop out a pin and a little elbow shaped piece falls out and that's it. Can anyon explain how to do this, or lead me to a post, or make a little diagram or something? I'm stumped, and I haven't had much experience dealing with small intricate mechanisms so may need extra clarification.

I think someone else is going to help me figure this out so your suggestions here (and then what I learned in the end which I will also post here) will help anyone else who is in a similar situation trying to modify these older guns.

MrP...hi my friend .. I would prefer not to do that .. I have the same problem...the solution is a more thinner strong n longer spring..when I install one of those heavy thick springs you have I put I hole in a $700 commercial bathroom door 🤪..since I change the springs same power, no more safety problem..that thick spring work in some frames in other not ...if it wasn't for the thinner springs I simply couldn't not have my 2 buids working..my 2 frames don't like the thick one..
