Disassemble an STO Falx?

Yes, both end caps unscrew, center portion slides out. STO sent a 1/2x20 instead of ordered M14. They sent correct end cap, just had to switch out. Some caps unscrew easily, some not. Trick to removing end cap without damage was remove exit cap, slide innards out, screw what's left on gun moderator threads, then reach in to install nut, or thread protector. Turning moderator shell off will cause end cap to loosen. WM

About how often should a Falx be disassembled and cleaned ?
It will vary, just inspect after the first thousand or so shots to see what it looks like. Lower energy pellet shooters may never require cleaning whereas higher energy slug shooters may shed more lead and require more frequent cleaning. Higher shot counts at higher energy levels typically result in the foam parts of the core moving around and likely needing to be adjusted.
