Anyone got any idea what I can do for the stock nut on my disco? It won't allow me to lock down the stock. It's the nut in front of the trigger guard and it won't come off and spins freely under the stock so it won't tighten down. Don't think it was an issue with the factory stock, but I have a Boyd's thumbhole stock on it and everything moves now. Doesn't affect accuracy any, but it moves around when moving and it just doesn't feel right. I think its the threaded stud that the nut threads onto to lock the trigger guard in place as well as where the stock bolt locks the stock down. If I JB weld it in place then I won't be able to remove the trigger group in the future. Any help is appreciated.

You may have to place some adhesive on your screw driver and let it set. Something like goop that can peel off later. Then you can put negative(pull) pressure as you unscrew it. Then determine the diameter and thread count and try a longer screw. They have test hole plates at some stores or someone with experience could help you determine the proper size.
