I ordered mine from DiscoveryOpt.us and I got it in 2 days..I am in CA....it may have shipped from CA, but not sure. No tax no shipping fees...weird.....

It is very hard to get a new Discovery scope that is sourced in the USA for some reason; You can go to Wes in Canada or buy directly from Discovery in China,That is what I have done, but the wait time can be a long time,I say go to Wes at Airgun,Archery Fun in Canada.
I bought three Discovery scopes directly from the factory in the past year or so. An HD 3-12×42 and some of the new HD 2-12×24 all of which proved to have very good build, optical, and tracking qualities, with certifications. After ordering, two came shipped from china within 3 weeks, and the last one came from a distribution center in California within a week or so. Discovery Optucs is their own factory, and not some manufactiring entity/brand name who is contracting to have their scope's made in a factory over there.

the magnification ring is very tight on my scope and it’s very difficult to adjust my zoom. how do i loosen it? it’s ridiculously tight
Find a magnification throw lever that will fit, this will give you more leverage. They are tight so if you bump them they will only move minutely. These are cheap zip ties that will work.
