Tuning Discovery regulator options?

Hey guys I am looking into regulating my new to me discovery. I'm wondering if any of you know if the fortitude regulator would work in it. I am hoping to get one that does not require drilling a hole to vent. I know about huma and altaros and will go with that if I need to but I thought the fortitude reg might be a cheaper option. Thanks guys.

I know a lot of people love to tinker with the AGs. But WHY put a regulator on a Discovery? Just buy a Fortitude... it will end up being a lot cheaper I'll bet. (chuckle)

Well, I mean... I can think of a lot of better ways to spend that money! LOL!

I've use LANE in 2 different PRods and they are just as (or more) consistent then the Huma's.

I used Altaros reg's in three of my Crosman based builds. No holes to drill, they come with a thread in rod for easy install and removal, incremented for simple set point.

I already have a Huma that is about to be installed in a Disco.

I am considering tying of piece of monofilament to the adjusting screw with a loop on the other to snatch with a hook for removal of the regulator

Has anyone tried this method?

Well backstop the reason is simple. I already have a discovery. It was given a power tune that definitely works but I've had a hard time getting a decent spread. I was curious about how the fortitude reg works or if it works at all. Also I want to cut the stock down for my little girl. Can't do that as easily with a synthetic stock.
