Dive tank question

Found a 30 cubic ft tank with scubapro din Valve. Looks to be like new. Needs 5 year re certify $150 asking.

What would I need add to this to be able to fill my guns?

I have a small shoebox compressor to use at the house and would rather not try to take to the range.

The valve seems to be rated at 232bar if I see correctly. That leads me to believe the bottle is somewhere between 200 to 230 bar range and that's just insufficient. There's really not much use for that in PCP world.

Get yourself a more modern tank rated for 300bar (4500psi?) for the same money. They are out there, I guarantee you that.
You did well asking.

Don't waste your money on this tank. It has all the disadvantages of a scuba tank and no advantages of a carbon fiber 310 bar tank. It's purposely heavy for diving yet only holds 3K psi, it provides very few top offs, and it's not that cheap. Since you already own a compressor, search the classifieds for a used 1.7 liter or larger carbon fiber tank and valve assembly. You can also buy a reasonably priced tank and valve from Acecare on either Ebay or Aliexpress.

I really wish people would STOP calling the newer compressors "Shoebox" . they are light duty compressors designed to fill guns . The Shoebox compressor is designed to boost a simple garage type compressor up to PCP level pressures .
Please STOP tarnishing the famous name of Shoebox with these newer light duty compressors .

Shoebox, shoebox, shoebox! 🤣😅😂😆🤪

Would probably help if you showed a picture or gave us a little more information about your compressor.
Mike,
Most likely a rectangular box, multi-power, high-speed fan cooled, oil-less, waterless compressor. OP stated he's aware filling tanks is not recommended with his compressor which manufacturers make clear in instructions for that style compressor. WM
