I wanted to share some info for anyone thinking of making a diy bullpup conversion (or any stock) but you're worried about the trigger linkage etc.

The few places that sell such things for air guns are often expensive and / or based outside America. I struggled to find an inexpensive trigger linkage rod that was sold separate to a kit. I also had a hard time finding a reasonably priced trigger frame that was machined to accept standard AR-15 grips. The only frames I found made for Airguns were $70+ which is crazy for a small piece of metal...

Anyway.... If you do a google search for MAKO spear gun AR handle frame, you will find a solid aluminum AR grip compatible trigger frame with a groove built in ready for a trigger linkage rod for $30. This is much better for a diy build imo. For an extra $5 they will include a basic AR grip too...

For people who want a cheaper alternative and just want to use AR grips (but don't need a trigger frame), there is an adapter made for the AK platform to allow it to be used with AR grips for less than $10. Google: AK to AR grip adapter. It's plastic but it works for non-beaver tail grips.

For a ready made trigger linkage, Numridge gun parts sells the trigger connectors separately for the Mossberg 500 bullpup kit. I got one for less than $20. These trigger connectors are actually pretty good for PCP rifle conversions because they are made to go around the magazine tube on the Mossberg shotgun so they fit around our air cylinders usually. Much better than the $150 that place in Poland wanted to charge me.

For the even more financially frugal of you, Home Depot sells threaded steel rods at $0.99 for the thinnest lightest one. My Cricket uses a basic straight rod not too different to this.

I know nothing about spear guns but they seem to use trigger rods like our bullpups so there are options these too. Just remember they use different names for parts (like handle frame instead of trigger frame).
