DIY Pellet Pouch

In a recent post the poster was asking about a pellet pouch and a number of nice commercially available ones were suggested.

I suggested a homemade pellet pouch on that thread and thought that I would start a new thread here to bring it to the attention to those who might want to make their own.

The advantage of this pouch is that you can reach into to pluck out a pellet (one handed) without having to fumble with lids or closures. The pouch has a flexible flap the stops the pellets from falling out.

I recently detailed my pellet pouch in a guest blog for Pyramyd A.I.R. so I'll just provide a link to that...

Hope this is of intrest!
Cheers!

Here's one I made after trying all that was available on the market.
It was a magnetic clasp to close it. All hand stitch leather. Works like a champ!View attachment 400786View attachment 400787View attachment 400788
Continuing on with pellet pouch variants. For a while i was really happy with a green dog treat pouch. It came with its own belt and had flat magnets which held it together. I could fit my whole hand in there and easily pull out a pellet without looking. However, it was meant for dog treats and not lead pellets, its lining wore through twice and my wife repaired it. I wanted something similar in leather, but the one i selected didn’t have a magnetic closure. My wife moved the closure from the green pouch to the leather one. It’s working well so far.

Been using pellet pouches for 4 decades, everything from original leather beeman, to modern crosman fabric.

These here in the link below, are the best I've found with all the perfect features imo.
Nice leather, perfect small size, magnetic closure, and.... Secure and quick metal belt clip. (I don't like belt loops).
I have five of these. I put a small, stick on lable on the back of each, identifying what pellet is within.

Have fun
