But it did knock some sense into ya didn't??One time my brother and I were seeing if we could hit the primer in a piece of .45ACP brass with my Crosman 717 pellet gun. Just the brass with no powder or bullet. Hit the primer and the primer launched out and hit me right in the forehead. Be careful.
Why did you have to mention deodorant roller balls??!!! I’m a bad enough hoard as it is, as everything that’s normally thrown by “normal people” I see as a target opportunity!I have for 20+ years saved all the roller balls out of my deodorant bottles, dry them off and a quick spray with red or yellow spray can paint.
Have also drilled them with 2mm drill bit filled with water colored with food colorant, then seal hole with blob of epoxy, gives some nice impact feedback
Which one. That spoon spinner is awesome! I'm making that tonight for my son, he will love it!
Reminds me of when I was hitting bottle caps at 50yrd with my 880Making and testing plinking target base/holder. Beer bottle cap challenge.
Try reinforcing the blade of the spoon with a bolt/washer combo.Which one.
I'made several so far and here is the problem. If the metal is to thin they deform pretty easy you just need to hammer it back out but still a bit of hassle. Another issue is if the stem is to thin and becomes twisted then it becomes harder to hit. Now if the stem is too thick it becomes pretty hard to wrap around and manipulate. I'm nailing these at 50-90 yards the other issue is you cant hear the plink. Although the spinning is cool.
I'm gonna try to find some cheap brass cow bells. Hang those up in the tree and see how that goes. The audible is just as important as the visual.
