DMGD Wildcat-FIXED

Fixed!!! Thanks for the help guys. It was the barrel!!

Alright guys I F'ed up!! Long story short the wildcat jumped out the case and did not land on all fours.

I had the magazine in loaded and one in the chamber. It was on safe (not sure if that will matter). I fired one shot everything was fine.

Then went to pull the lever back as it moved back it stopped before it could rotate the magazine. I tried to remove the magazine but it seemed jammed. I looked at it a best as I could and slowly pulled the magazine out. I sort of rotated upwards and came out.

My second magazine did not want to go in as did the one that was loaded when the rifle was dropped. Lever cycles fine without any magazine in. It just feels like its a really tight fit now and I don't want to force anything.

What could it be the indexing lever that rotates the magazine? Could the aluminum really have bent? It fell out the case from no higher than 6" off the ground appeared to have landed on the scope then fell on the side of the magazine.

Hi,
Has got to be the indexing lever. You can send it back or take off the plate and straighten the lever. Only thing that makes sense is the mag was pushed back into the lever and bent it. I found a slight Bend will make a big difference. Just be sure you don't lose the spring when you take it apart. I have a wildcat 22 and 25. Had to work through indexing problems with both of them. Good luck don't panic. From that distance you could not have done any major damage. Appears to be a very sturdy rifle except for indexing lever and flimsy trigger rod yokes.
