Do you enjoy vintage airguns? Sharing some research...

If you are into vintage airguns like I have become in the past year or so I'm sure you've enjoyed the research part of the process and finding out about their history around the world. There's the Blue Book of Airguns which I picked up over the summer and find an excellent resource for some basic information on models, variants and a base for condition and value. I enjoy flipping through the pages and picking some models I'd like to acquire, but for a long time I did have a hard time finding online resources for further information, instructions, manuals, marketing information, repair instructions etc.

I'd like to share a few resources which have become invaluable to me in the process.

Ebay user Crosman600repair has an excellent selection of CO2 reseal kits: https://www.ebay.com/usr/crosman600repair

Many people are probably aware of JG Airguns. They are an excellent resource for very hard to find parts. https://www.jgairguns.biz/parts-c-78/

I've two websites with a plethora of information on a large variety of vintage airgun information:
The Vintage Airguns Gallery: https://forum.vintageairgunsgallery.com/
Trev's Airgun Scrapbook: https://cinedux.com/

I think it would be great for others to share any resources they find valuable as they grow their collection.

Of course this thread would not be complete without some eye candy.

Good thread! I'm over collecting, but certainly enjoy the use of my older Sheridan and Crosmans.

I've found https://christmas.musetechnical.com/ to be really handy when looking for info on older airguns. Between the Sears & Roebuck, Montgomery Ward and J.C. Penney catalogs, there's a lot to be learned.

Danny Garvin's "Vintage Airguns Gallery" linked above is a FANTASTIC mother lode of information and photos on old airguns of every type. Everyone reading this should bookmark it right now!

Here are three great forum / discussion sites...I check these every day.

1. "American Vintage Airguns"

2. "Vintage Air Gun Gate" at Gateway to Airguns

3. "Collectible Airguns" sub-forum at the UK BBS

And yeah, I have a few oldies around here.

PS. SO envious of the Ben/Sher H9, what a beauty! Back in the day when they were new, I coulda walked across the street (literally) - from my house to the Sears store - and picked one up. Still kicking myself I didn't.
