Doe kill with a Benjamin Bulldog .457

Got my first deer kill today with my Benjamin Bulldog .457 & AGM TS19-256 Thermal Scope.

Was using 216 grain hollow tip slugs which seemed to do the job just well. Hit a double lung shot but didn't get an exit wound, she died about 15 ft from where i hit her and about 5-10 seconds later.

Looking forward to my first buck kill next season!

Sorry about the shakiness in the video, I was trying to position myself on a fence with my bipod and had to get situated.

No pass through s with hollow points are normal at are under 1000 fps ...Even with solid slugs and full pass throughs no blood trail normal with big bore...Nice rig!!!!!Good shooting..... Keep it up😀
Thank you! Thats good to know, I figured it was normal to not get a passthrough with a hollow point!

Congratulations! Have you cleaned it or had it processed? If so, was the near shoulder broken? It looks like your shot may have hit it. If so, that would have significantly reduced penetration. But as long as it goes through, as it obviously did, it is a great place to hit.
I took her to get processed right after. Didnt get a chance to ask but I will when i pick it up! Makes sense though, i tried feeling around for it but couldnt find it on the other side.

Thanks, its a AGM Rattler TS19-256. Just upgraded from a ATN 3-14x 4k Scope. Love the thermal, never going back! Setting up right now to call some yotes!
It's really hard to go back after shooting with thermal! I have the ATH THOR 4 640 2.5-25x, and my only complaint with thermal is the lack of good depth perception, which has done me in a few times when raccoon hunting with a wide variety of brush.
