Does A Bottle Barrel Band Throw Off The Air Guns Aim

I am working through some issues I am having with a Dream Valve, incurable leak thus far. But as I try to think through all the angles and possible cures, the question in the title crossed my brain. Does a bottle/barrel band potentially throw off or hold the barrel at a different position.

I haven't asked this very well, but I put a new bottle conversion on my Notos. Then noticed there to be a bit of movement in the bottle and wanted also to put a rail mount on the bottom of the bottle for bi-pod. As I have played with the airgun, I have noticed that there also seems to be alot of movement or flexiblility in the barrel. A bottle/barrel band seemed to be the cure??????

So would or could a barrel band throw things off? Are they a good addition or bad addition to an airgun? Is there a correct way to install them so as not to create potential pressure on the barrel or the bottle conversion?

Also, contemplating if there is anything I could have done with the bottle/barrel band that may have caused undue stress on the Dream Valve and created my own leak? Potentially bending the plenum or something?

All insites and suggestions are very much appreciated.

@Hate The Rain I have not added one to an air rifle, but from what I’ve read about them yes they can change your point of impact on an air rifle for various reasons. If you haven’t read through a thread like this, give this a read

Thank you. excellent read. Hadn't found it in my searches. It would seem to make sense in that both the barrel and the bottle have some wiggle. You can never know where the best, correct position is.

YES .... Bottle and its mounting to receiver is seldom SNUG SNUG and slight wiggle free .... If barrel is Banded to the bottle, any motion be it bottle attachment area or created by varied pressures within bottle the POI will change.
* There is Very good reason be in Air guns or Powder WHY the most consistent is Free Floated having barrel in contact with nothing outside receiver attachment !!! Sad thing even then is if a Floated barrel is NOT VERY securely attached at receiver you will still get random POI shifts
