Does anyone else do this?

I love shoot-n-c targets! I used to just shoot groups at the 5 diamonds and basically be done. A while back I started treating each black square like it's own little target, shooting at each square one time. Here's a pic of a recent target. Not shot in one sitting. Maybe 5 or 6 little sessions consisting of a mag or two after work to relax. Different weather, wind etc. Anyways it seems like I get more shots in on a sheet before I have to switch targets out. Usually I'll put 5 shots into each diamond and then go around and plink out all of the squares. That adds up to 81 rounds into a single shoot-n-c !

"bowwild"Pretty cool. Only air gunners would think of doing this. It costs so little to shoot our rifles we shoot a lot per session and they are so accurate, no target is too small to hit!
LOL! Good point - like hitting aspirin tabs at 50 yards. :D
I routinely shoot at spinner targets at 75 yards. But, not the spinners themselves.... the 1/4" steel rod FRAMEWORK around the target.

I do this...

imagejpeg

Rings are 2mm, 5.5, 11 and 18 mm, shooting distance is 25 meters, at this distance a bad shot lands outside of the 5.5 ring while at 50 metres a bad shot lands outside of the 18mm ring.

I don't shoot groups preferring to use a fresh target per shot, always from top left to bottom right, 144 rings and 124 shots per full, Cost is nothing but the price of paper

No use wasting a target. Any intersecting line is fair game as well as writing on the target.
I staple my paper targets to old campaign signs and frequently shoot the staples out once finished with the main target. Frequently when I start a new target, all goes to pot and would be ashamed to let anyone see such poor shooting so I dispose of it pretty fast.
