Does anyone have any tips for removing the shroud on a pulsar?

I have the barrel removed and the shroud loose. But I can’t seem to figure out what connects it to the scope mounting piece.

Nothing.

The sight/scope rail is not connected to the shroud in any way. As you can see by looking at yours, there are no mount, screw, clamp locations. The shroud just slides past the rail base.

As for the block (real name ?) that's on the end or your shroud...these two are screwed together. Just unscrew them. Mine did not have any epoxy or sealant on it. it just unscrewed. Two pieces of clean, soft rubber sheet may help you with the grip on the two parts, grip tightly and untwist it (standard threads).

The "part"...that has the two set screws (mine has three) in it...is seperate from the "tube".

So, yes, just unscrew the long tube from the short "part". Do not remove the set screws, just rotate.

I've had mine apart several times while I shortened the shroud. The barrel is not the full length of the shroud. There are baffles in the front that help dissipate the sound.
