Does anyone have the new Burris Signature QD PEPR mounts?

I've been looking at the new Burris Signature QD PEPR mounts for awhile and they look really nice. Having the ability to adjust the MOA with the inserts is a cool feature too but some of the reviews say that you can't adjust the tension on the quick release levers which means that they may not fit snugly on all rails and that could adversely affect your zero.

Do anyone actually own these and can provide real world feedback on them? These are the rings in question here:

I want a set, but I spent my money else where, so now I have to wait till Jan. I use UTG ACCU-SYNC mounts, but I want a mount that I can set my scope to optic center and use the mount to zero. There is a burris PEPR mount that does not not zero, so beware, it isn't the signature line. The reviewer who said the tension is not adjustable, is maybe not knowledgable to just open the lever and turn the lever to adjust. Everyplace that sells them at a lower price is out of stock, I can only find MAP pricing or real close to it

Thank you, this is what I was hoping to hear . . . it wouldn't make any sense for Burris to make a set that can't be adjusted for some variance between one scope rail to the next. And, yes, these are only available around MAP prices right now.

I had it on my Impact with a Hawke Frontier scope, I never had any problems with it, nor coming loose or POI changes, the only reason I changed it is bc I bought a new Vortex Viper pst II Gen scope and also bought the Vortex precision matched rings.

Good to hear as well. What did you do with those Burris mounts then - do you still have them lying around and want to get rid of them? Asking for a friend ;)

I use the Burris Signature rings to adjust the moa and keep the scopes optically centered. This is a near priceless feature on an airgun for mounting scopes because our guns have tendency to shoot in any given direction from the factory! If this particular Burris unit does the features as advertised then I'd get it, but from supplier that has a good return policy if it doesn't work out for you. Because it is cam locking, one would think there has got to be some way to adjust tension on the locking levers. So it probably can be adjusted mechanically or at least shimmed just under the cams, even if it has to be re-engineered with home-made shim stock.

It’s taking a break and waiting for a new gun! ;)
