Here's a quote from a different thread started by Ted....
"Yes – okay – it was the King Heavies.
But, all three groups were shot with the King Heavies. That is my point – velocity affects accuracy.
And the power wheel on this gun allows for 12 different velocities – all about 10 – 30fps apart. What used to take me hours (and perhaps multiple trips to the range) to find the perfect speed for any given pellet now takes minutes."
I was surprised to read this as I thought I may have been the only one! I've since labeled my power wheel with a pencil "H" (higher side) and "L" (lower side). I am getting an average of 27.6fps difference with a high difference of 36 and low difference of 13. I've got to wonder if the circle (where the HS set screw rides) is just slightly off center and maybe that's what's causing these differences.
I also compared the transition differences from (for example) low 4 to high 3 etc. These numbers yielded an average difference of 19.7 with a high difference of 38 fps and a low difference of 2 (negligible).
It's easier to just post a picture rather than try to re-type all this info....
