Western Airguns Does the Western Mordax have enough fpe?

Are people disappointed about the fpe in the Mordax?

Seems typical for an air pistol but underpowered compared to the GK one which is a bit of a surprise given the similarity of the mechanism and the larger caliber option of the Mordax. I just don't see what the appeal of this pistol is given that the GK one exists. Seems like you're paying twice as much simply to get a removable magazine and lower power. I can't imagine full auto is more than a gimmick given the small shot count of the Mordax.

Good point. What about the availability to upgrade to a larger bottle and barrel?

How about the upgraded airtank and barrel. However wouldn't that just make it a sidewinder?
I’m going to wait and see. I’ve got a .30 Sidewinder already. I think that a larger diameter tube would accomplish it. I’d also like to see higher capacity magazines, but I don’t think that’s possible due to the design.

I’m really just waiting to see what comes next as they keep improving and they’re pretty expensive.

Have you tried both the Huban moderator vs the Yokozuna or other mods on your Mordax? I'm impressed how the Huben works on the GK1. Better than the Yokozuna and much smaller.
I have not tried that one but Kelly gave me 3 of them to check out and that one was the quietest. He sells them cheaper than anyone else as well.
