Does the Zulus obsolete ATNs, etc.?

The form factor alone is fantastic, a small footprint packing a lot of features. Most of the Zulus’ viable competitors are huge by comparison. I own the basic Zulus (no range finder), it has been simply amazing to me. Particularly for shooting at night, I love getting on rats with it. The fact that it adds so little weight and bulk to a gun is a big plus… I feel that Arken has put all its competitors on notice. The little Zulus simply performs and is intuitive to use, definitely a home run for Arken…🙏

@L.Leon I have yet to use a Zulus. I feel like my Pard NV008s works for what I need to do for night hunting. The Zulus video quality looks really good from what I’ve seen. Maybe this is a necessary step up for YouTubers or something, but for a hunter like myself I can’t see the need to upgrade just yet. I’m more concerned with other cameras and their video quality to help self film a hunt to help preserve the memory. I’m liking. Some of what I’m seeing you all post about your units. It’s good to see companies respond to consumer demands and requests. To your question I think not, but I’m unsure.

As a pard 008s user for a good few years, then for the last few months a Zulus with ballistic calculator etc my current preference is the Zulus.

Took a couple of sessions to get used to the differences, well worth the effort.

The pard will still get used, it's permanently on a Cricket.
It's a very early version of the 008, doesn't even have a serial number.

I can't comment per se on them making others obsolete, however I've always been kind of interested In a scope like this. Most though have seemed hit or miss and usually just very large scopes. The Arken is the one that got me to commit and the little I've played with it I'm thrilled. The crispness of the scope "footage" is excellent and it's very easy to use. I'm looking forward to really dialing mine in with the LRF and ballistic calculator. And to finally record my pesting sessions is exciting.
