Question: How many inches does the quick connect system add to the OAL of a gun?

Not much honestly. The internal threads are maybe 3/8" or so from the end of the connector. Will get a measurement tonight when I get home from work.

Not wishing to be a downer but these look very similar in design to the impulse air mods. Conical segments, just different outer look. Am I missing something?

I have both at my house and can get some pictures to show the difference. The Donny silencers have more of a baffle and tighter cone area as well as other passages for air to flow through, where as the Impulse has just a straight wall cone with nothing else.

That's what it looks like to me also.
I have tried an Impulse Air 1350 also, the STO Falx it quieter !
