Im interested in a Donny FL moderator.
Im only interested in a Donny FL at the moment.
Looking to quiet down a .30 caliber pcp.
I realize that bigger, and longer moderators, dosent always mean quieter!
Which Donny FL moderator is the quietest in your opinion?
Did any particular one of his products surprise you with both a small form factor and above average noise suppresion?
Thanks in advance.

I know you Only want a DonnyFL, but don't waste your time or money and get a Silent Thunder Ordnance.

Ronin, Emperor or Yokozuna are the bigger ones with enough volume for .30 cal. It’s how heavy or big you want to go between these 3.
This topic, would be great for someone with a youtube channel...
Compare AUDIO between numerous moderators on the same big bore gun, same ammo, and edit quickly between the various models of moderators.

There is not absolute answer to your question unless the person has the same gun shooting at the same speed... in my case my uragan 1 . Ended being the quieter with the Donny. FX than with the shogun or sumo .. or tatzu .. I recently got a .30 YOKOZUNA for my 308 .. and it works flawless quieting 260fpe .. but I don't recommend it for any other use. Is a really heavy moderator, for a 257 or 308 texan or a bull barrel gun is perfect but for a regular shrouded gun way to heavy.. the quick detach on the moderator, for my use simply doesn't not worth it..I ordered mine with solid treads end cap.

The Emperor will be the quietest but it is a big boy. Yokozuna is a new internal design with quick disconnect and different from the Emperor and Ronin.
I saw demo's on YT and the Yokozuna ($199) did slightly better than the Emperor and it's much smaller for its performance. I believe it weighs 10.5oz though which isn't light. I decided to buy the Yokozuna today for my Evanix Max Air II (.25) Bullpup because of its small size (1.6" x 7.25"). I didn't want anything very large and overbearing for a short Bullpup rifle. I also looked at the Impulse Air IA-1350 but it was $240 and it's size was smaller just like my current moderator so it has less air space than the Yokozuna. Its advantage is it's just under half the weight (4.52oz) but smaller at (1.375" x 5.125"). I currently have a DonnyFL FX Moderator (1.38" x 5") which did tame it a bit, but I want more sound reduction. The FX is an inexpensive moderator and nothing but open air, wire screen and felt. I'll just use it on my Gauntlet. I hope the Yokozuna performs much better than the DonnyFL FX moderator with at least a 3dB additional reduction.
