I had a Ronin on a Taipan .25 Vet. It was quiet. I swapped it for a Hugget Belita. The Belita is way smaller. It's 4.7" L, 2.5" oz, and 1.22" diameter. I was surprised at the difference. The Belitta was a lot quieter and I don't have a big shop can hanging on the end of the barrel. If you want a small efficient moderator, check out the Belita.

i put a ronin on my DW power tuned Uragan .30, it did good.
then i purchased the AGT moderator made for the uragan/vulcan.....
just as good and maybe better for half the size and weight.
sold the ronin that evening on here.

You do not need a giant can on a properly tuned Impact any more than you would need one on a Taipan. If your Impact, 25cal or less requires anything bigger than the Donny thats designed for the gun, you are wasting too much air.

i live in a very rural area and don't usually use a moderator... one thing i have noticed when i do use one.. it's only as good as the tune... meaning if you have a good tune the moderator will quiet it down nicely... if its wasting air because your after power and exceeding your rifles limit then the moderator isn't going to work as well as it could

THAT!!!I’ve been saying that for a long while but people just want easy answer and refuse to believe their gun is not efficient or has a bad tune. If the gun is loud with a moderate sized moderator then the valve is still open as the ammo leaves the barrel aka inefficient. However there are better moderators but even the best moderator won’t fix inefficient tune!
My friends impacts, mavericks, Dreamlines, crowns all are very quiet even shooting over 80 FPE with my 3D printed moderator, while I like to claim I make best moderators but the tune is more important.

Same happened with my uragan. 30 the small Donny FX moderator worked way better than the ronin - the shogun n the sumo .. all 3 sold .. more silent n better harmonics.i put a ronin on my DW power tuned Uragan .30, it did good.

Just bought an adapter for my Uragan .30. I will try the Tanto 25/30 . Hope it quiets it further. It is a quiet rifle Already.
