DonnyFL Airgun Silencer

I asked him what I should get for my WC II and my Impact. He recommended the KOI and said they were interchangeable. The impact is already quiet enough but my WC seems a bit loud. I just hope, after reading the above, that the Koi will be enough. I live in the country so neighbor concerns about the noise isn't an issue. I just wanted the best chance of not scaring pests away with a loud report.

Ordered the Koi on a Saturday. It was shipped USPS priority the same day.

There is a lot to know about measuring sound and dBA and what the numbers mean. It would be prudent for those of us who are concerned with our sound output to read a little about sound measurement. I found this and thought it might provide some simplified and brief means for air gunners to compare sound levels. It's not a linear weighting. Just know that a 3dB change is twice as loud to your ear, not 30% or some other scale that one might surmise

What is a decibel? Zero decibels (0 dB) is the quietest sound audible to a healthy human ear. From there, every increase of 3 dB represents a doubling of sound intensity, or acoustic power.*
