I have a .22 avenger with my shogun. But every time I put my shogun on I keep thinking it’s got to be for a .25 or .30 anyone has an idea by my photos

Sure looks like clipping from the flat point on each skirt. When you unscrew the end cap do you see and lead smears on anything?

No not worried about clipping that pellet was just a jsb15 that I pulled from the tin to see how big the hole was compared to it. Jsb pellets are just super soft lead.

If that was a .22end cap how much extra room would be around that pellet if I can tomorrow tie string to it and take a photo of it inside the end cap

OK, I see what you're asking. I have a DonnyFL Koi for .177/.22. If you unscrew the end cap there should be the caliber engraved on the end cap/air stripper.

I have a Sumo that's the same diameter as the Shogun, just a couple inches shorter.
That Sumo is in .22 (from before Donny's switch to combined calibers, if there ever was such a switch, I don't remember....).
The exit hole measures 6.0mm.
The Shogun in .22/.25 (recently bought) measures 6.8mm ➔ that is 0.8mm or 0.03" larger.

Alright I’ll try to find a way to measure it the best I can n see what it comes out to. I just think if it was smaller hole maybe would help with the noise a lil not big fan the way the shogun is on the inside. I looked that up n just wire mesh with some felt

You need to remove to other end of the moderator where it screws on your rifle. A rubber grip pad like you use on a jar lid or something similar works well if you can’t get a good grip on it.

looks about right for a .22-.25 .. doubt tightening the hole will have the effect you want .. lowering power is the best bet .. also thats a biggun, not sure how things would be effected by 'too big' but a sumo size should be ample, especially combined with a shroud .. id be sure thats together right and fuctioning in conjunction with the mod ..

I will probably try cork instead of the felt to me it’s not that long at a rifle lil with the moderator. But it’s pointless to have a shroud with out baffles but with the adapter no room
