Mr Hammer probably doesn't have all these different guns to pattern the new barrel from so it would probably be best to send him your existing barrel after you contact him and get his approval. I think he's still waiting on blanks from his supplier.

That's a nice idea. Then he can measure everything and build his barrel dimensions knowledge so that he can machine barrels for others with no need to have a particular barrel instance at hand.
Anyway, I would love to see some more results. Ideally, I would like to know which slugs fly the best in this barrel.

thanks, that's really nice of you.
Because I feel like unless I follow the masses down the FX highway, slug precision is not accessible to me. So, thank you for leading the way, an alternative way, a way the barrel makers should have been on since a couple of years ago....
But you are just blazing the trail like Nick at NielsenSpecialtyAmmo.com — Nick finally brought down slug prices and made them accessible to every shooter —
now you are providing slug barrels for our non-slug guns —
so slug shooting becomes accessible to all, not just those on a particular brand band wagon.
Instead of the Big Businesses — it's the airgun enthusiasts like Nick and Troy and others who move us forward. (Bad rep for the BB's.)

I'm using mine at RMAC as we speak. It's shooting the 24.8 NSA great @ 960fps it's also shooting 33.95 Jumbo monster pellets great. I picked up Javelin and JSB MII knockouts while here for more testing and getting H&N as well. Spent a while talking with Matt at Javelin discussing the barrel and he feels it can handle even up to 30gr no problem so they'll be lots of testing coming up. The AVS slugs also shot well in testing so it's very promising that you'll have many choices based on the guns power.

Guns are being mailed back this week from RMAC so should be able to start the 100 yard testing then.

Finally getting some raw materials in. Looks like 15mm will be a go. Wanting to gauge the interest in a 15mm. @Dairyboy you had mentioned you were interested what other guns use 15mm? I think RAW is 15mm as well. I do currently have an 18" and 24" blank available in 1/2" OD if anyone is interested. 14mm is in the works getting raw material has been a pain. FYI when hammerforging the raw material needs to be a specific ratio of OD and ID of the raw material to get a specific final OD. If it's not within that ratio the OD is off and requires the blanks to need ground between centers to reach the desired OD which adds significant cost. I'm trying to avoid that so the barrel cost can stay reasonable but the down side is the wait for matching ratio material means the no barrels during that wait so it's a tough decision.

And the breech end has a nice bevel for the pellet entrance
So yeah, I’d like to try slugs with an unchoked 350. What say ye?

Will an air venturi avenger barrel become available and would a longer version be possible? I’d like a 32” barrel in .22 cal.

The avenger is already a long rifle. But any better barrel for them would be a great upgrade to do I would be interested in one.

If there is any avenger barrels that are available what’s the price on one? Lets say stock length but thicker so can get rid or horrible shroud. That shoots pellets and slugs. I was even love to do that n take the long air tube off and replace it with another short one.
