Going to buy a compressor this week and and want get my moisture control right up front . Anyone using this filter and is it worth it or will the single version be enough ?

I’ve used the single version for almost a year now and it’s been sufficient. At $70 plus the Zeolite ($15) it’s a good deal.

This version just look nicer but i think its cost more than 200$-300$. This is single version 70$ free shipping. I would buy 2 which costs 140$

I am using that double one that you have pictured.. The first stage (right side pictured) is more of a gravity filter which works well. The second stage came with a nice heavy walled clear tube with O rings on each end. It was filled with carbon. The ends are threaded but they are glued in place. The filter is meant to be replaced after six months. There is a small hole on each end (maybe 1/4") with a thin mesh/felt type filter inside. I pulled out the top filter, poured out the carbon, and replaced it with X13 Zeolite. It worked out pretty neat.
After using it the first time I released the two drain lines and a good bit of moisture came out of the first stage.

Ok call me stupid but how does this hook up are you installing this filter between the air tank and the compressor ? A real nice picture or video of this complete setup in use would be helpful to all of us that are newby's to PCP.

Yes , a two stage filter between the compressor and the tank or gun being filled . Probably a bit overkill but we will see , have one on the way .
