Are mourning doves allowed to be shot with Airguns where you are ? In CA they won’t allow

Watch out, possibly illegal, doves are migratory birds with a bit different rules, could be shotgun only. Don't want you to get into legal troubles. You might want to investigate.

Anyway not here to impose laws i was just curious . Personally I can care less how they get in the pan lol

Collared Dove (Eurasian), Quail, Pheasant and Turkey are okay with pellet/air guns with a minimum of .177 caliber.
Since air guns are NOT CONSIDERED FIREARMS PER THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, the use of lead projectiles is okay.

Put a shotgun in the picture. 
I have a fairly large field on my land. I should try for some doves if the soybeans get harvested in time. Otherwise I'd have to drive to Swan Creen WMA up on the Tennessee River.
