"Dreaming" of a Dreamline ;)

Yet another question for FX - Is the Dreamline barrel and Probe the same as the Impact? Will an Impact Barrel and probe fit a Dreamline? Seems reasonable that to reduce model numbers and stocking issues, the two guns may use the same parts. Just a thought, that needs confirmation one way or another.

Actually all modern FX rifles (Crown, Impact X, Wildcat MKII, and now the Dreamline) utilize the same STX barrels, only difference is the probes are different for each rifle, as well as the shrouds. So if you own multiple FX rifles, you can play around with swapping barrels if you pick up the needed probe (and optional shroud parts if needed) from your countries importer (FX USA for instance carries these parts as well as some dealers like Utah Airguns and others that want to carry more parts)

Oh FUN! Thanks for the update!

Now, another question. I see the Light and Pup have both the three position power selector, and the Impact style hammer spring adjuster but it seems the Classic does not include the Impact style hammer spring adjuster. is this an accurate observation? If not, why not?

many thanks,

Spy shot - new AMP regulator in the Dreamline compared to the original in the Streamline seems to be more than twice as large.

Following the tread about the dreamline long time now.
I looks like a awsom rifle, and I really would like to be the first to have one (wood stock) in the EU. For sure in Belgium.
So I don't know if you will send it oversea's to my country (?) but any way I want to put me down for a normal wood version of the Dreamline.
I have a FX airgun already and it is sure the best rifle I ever had in my hands so the Dreamline will the newest model and I cannot imagine if they can make anything even better like the Streamline?
I hope to get one in hands, and maybe thanks to you?????

Keep up the good work, I like all of your reviews any way a great help in our choosings ....

It appears that the "Block" containing the hammer adjustment mechanism may be missing on the Classic. I've received some info that the hammer can be adjusted internally on the Classic, but not externally. That's one thing about a modular gun you must be aware of, what parts are you really getting! The hammer adjustment block appears to be included in the Lite and Pup, but not the cheapest version, the Classic.

That is important to me, so probably looking at a Pup as my first Dreamline, though not for at least 6 months. I want supplies to be high enough I can go to UAG and at least hold one first. Having a show room close enough to drive to is important to me, so UAG fills that role. The modular system has so many possibilities!
