Tuning Dreamline bottle adapter vent hole leaking

Hey Gang

My dream-tac compact mysteriously developed a leak at the little vent hole right above where the bottle screws on. Does anyone have a diagram of it? It's under warranty and I've reached out to FX but haven't gotten hold of a tech yet so in the mean time I was just wondering if it's something simple I can quickly address or it's something FX service department has to do.

Thanks in advance

Could be traced from #6-#16.

Probably valve seat. Try just shooting the hell out of it maybe leak goes away by itself.

Let us know exactly what it was by part# reference in picture for the next guy.

will do. Since it is FX’s standard amp regulator it should be fairly straight forward, will dive into it tonight since I just remembered I bought an FX oring kit so hopefully I already have the Orings that I need.

according to the amp regulator video by 910 airgun it appears that the inner regulator housing or inner action or piston oring is the culprit. Will find out tonight.

Good news! Leak is no more! Bad news is I don’t really know which oring is the culprit. I opened the amp regulator and checked all the orings and they looked fine but the main problem is some of them are really hard to get to like the action oring and regulator body oring. I don’t have the regulator oring rebuild kit yet so I didn’t want to risk tear up the current one. I replaced easiest one the piston oring and greased the rest, after airing up I felt there is a really really slow leak still from the vent hole. I popped off a few shots and increased the regulator pressure and no more leak. Will check again tomorrow and next couple of days but I think I might have this thing fixed!

crazy. Sounds like what just happened to my gun. thank you for the follow up. just to be sure it was leaking when you put the bottle adapter on, between the bottle adapter and the valve?

not sure if I understand your question 100%. I am not sure when it started to leak honestly but the leak is at the regulator coming out of the regulator vent hole right above where the bottle/tube screws on. The leak is not between the bottle adaptor and the action/valve, hope that answered your question.

also checked the gun again today and still at same exact pressure so we are good!
