Ok I admit am a cleaning Fanatic I love to polish and clean cars trucks and all my airgun equipment. But I just got this little Dremel hand held polisher and cleaner tool and I love it it's very handy for hard to get places but I found out that the FX crown stocks have a lacquer finish on them and it's very easy to bring that finish up to a very beautiful luster. All I did was grab some Maguires polishing compound clearcoat Saife and in 5 minutes I have a totally different looking stock it's shiny and smoother feeling now i know some guys don't like it shiny but it truly brings out the color. I also Polish all of my Airgun equipment with 100% Carnauba wax wax it's a great protectant and gives a very smooth finish better than putting oil spay or receive protectants just 100% carnauba wax makes a huge difference on moving parts and barrels pallet probes and protects as well just sharing my experience and what I learned long ago hope this helps give it a try thank you guys.
