Thanks for sharing the tips guys. I’m getting the magnets right away. This forum is awesome for sure. I’m really glad that I didn’t just shoot the dirty ones, there was lots of dust on the water. Seems like you could possibly scratch your barrel if a pellet had a tiny bit of something hard on it as it zipped up the barrel. I also ordered a couple of those cool pellet pouches made of leather.
the sock / vacuum idea is something I need to remember. I have only lubed pellets once. I dropped a brand new tin of JSB in my shop. That floor is dirty with metal and saw dust. I picked up the pellets washed them then blew dried them then sprayed some Hornady one shot sizing spray on them. They shot horrible. Thats when I decided to dump my JSB pellets in a screw top tin or a pellet pouch.
Oh how we all have been there! I hate it when I have to retrieve pellets from the dirt or leafy matter.
Recently had a friend make me up a pellet pouch, a clone to the old, no longer available Beeman pouch. Oh what a difference, even like it better than my Wilkinsen pouch!
I added a picture below, if anyone interested in one I can put you in contact with this guy, i love mine.
