N/A Drozd Blackbird. More carnage. Up to 4k rpm.

Sold off my blackbirds but I have three bumblebees that will be upgraded with Sergeys board, HPA kit, and blackbird mags (if I can find them).

The bumblebees are awesome too. I've never had one but basically the same other than the hopper I think.
Maybe next someone could make a Gatling gun with a hopper full of .30 round balls and 140 FPE ?😜😜😜
Please 🙏

Yes, same exact gun except for color and mags. I like the bumblebee mag because it can cycle the .177 lead balls whereas they get stuck in the blackbird hopper. Only draw drawback is the 30 round capacity.

Sure would be neat to see a current reinvention. Heck design a new gun around a 700cc bottle.

Now, temptations to waste money on stuff that I DON'T NEED — they lurk on every forum, every gun show and outdoor exhibition.

But such a gun, I'm telling myself, is something that I actually DO NEED.
Yeah, believe me, I keep telling that to myself.
And — o wonder of the airgunner's mind — it actually becomes more and more of a NEED.
In my mind, that is.

And in reality, you ask?
Don't ask stupid questions!! 🙄
What's in my mind IS REALITY.
Really.
I just have to keep telling that to my mind.

Matthias

PS:
I might be sending my Christmas greetings from a dog house. Or the poor house.
O well.

The most fun airgun I have is a Steyr ProX. It a reasonably precise gun, reliable, and well made.
Though very expensive.
It runs out after 10 pellets.
Mags are around $100 each.
Time to fill it after 60-ish shots at 29 fpe.

I'm just wanting to extend the fun factor of my ProX much more which means this Blackbird is almost what I envision.

However I really need factory support if something breaks and of course plenty of spare replacement parts available.

I betcha Scout could make a fantastic semiauto using lead round balls with a hopper system, etc, since they already do paintball.

Anyone else still have one of these.? It'd be nice if they were still sold. Hard to come by now. This was modded by Mason Dawson. Making it crazier than it already was.

I still have my Blackbird, tried selling a couple times with no luck, nobody wanted to give me more than double what I paid for it, lol.
I think I want to mod it like the one in your video now! Wow!

I missed out on the Blackbirds , I bought a Barra 400E , That I have rolled a jackrabbit at 25 yards on full auto,,, The kid in me still wants a 900FPS and lots of rounds per second BB gun, But if someone picks up the blackbird design and starts making them, I bet the price will be in the 500-800 range,,$$.. But and this is a big but , If they make the magazine BB hopper with 500 - 2000 BBs , I might be in..

Any level of Auto, and you really need a big magazine if you ask me.

As a kid i made a full auto shooting 3 mm or so steel balls, used your standard low pressure air "pistol", on that a piece of rubber hose and in the end the barrel.
Magazine same pipe in the middle of the hose, open the air "pistol " and tilt the magazine backwards so steel balls could roll into the airstream, and presto 30 shots gone in a fraction of a second, and might i add fast enough that they would draw sparks shooting into the oil soaked floor of the place.

A few windows might also have been lost in the process.

BY air " pistol " i mean one of these.

My unstoppable brain have actually devised a more usable and larger caliber version, one that would work with high pressure air or at least a LOT more than the few BAR you have in a low pressure compressor., tough of course VERY air wasteful, but for damn sure not something i would like to be on the receiving end off.

Idea put on mast on same PTZ gimbal as a CCTV camera so you can operate remote VIA your CCTV system and have a aim of sorts

I do think Barra missed the boat not offering a big high capacity BB magazine, They did bump it from 50 to 100 rounds ,, Got the 400 E loaned out to my Grandson so have not shot with the 100 bb magazine yet,,, The size of the Barra Mag they could easy pack 500 BBs in it,,, So simple, Would you buy a electric BB gun that shoots 100 BBs at a time or one that would shoot 500--1000 BBs on one magazine...
The engineers of the Barra , Need to watch the Blackbird video clip,,, What do we want? Please watch the clip..
