Is it ok to dry fire or as some call it, purge your PCP before starting to shoot for accuracy? Is ok for some guns and not others?
With my Impact MkII I always take a shot or two (dry fire) before loading the magazine and commencing to shoot my target. Is it ok to dry fire or as some call it, purge your PCP before starting to shoot for accuracy? Is ok for some guns and not others?
This new guy just learned that the hard way.Just make sure there's air in you tank! I went out after a squirrel, took a dry fire shot and heard a tank. On inspection the gun had leaked out all it's air. It damaged the valve seat and I'm still working on getting it to hold air....
LMAOI'm getting good at taking it apart and putting it back together,lol.......
