I accidentally fired my Umerex Notos pcp with the bolt open. Do you think I have harmed the gun?

doubt you harmed anything , best way to find out is fire it again with a pellet in , like normal

The most common thing to go wrong when shooting with the bolt open on an airgun is that you would blow the breech seal out and have to replace it. If your rifle is still shooting quietly you are ok.

Most likely you did no harm. If the magazine was properly in place, all you did was forcefully insert the pellet into the breech.
I have done this more times than I like to admit with my Akela. All you have to do is re-cock the gun and as you do that, remove the magazine so that you don't double feed another pellet.
Then shoot the gun. After you shoot it, replace the magazine and continue as normal.
Even if the magazine was not in place, all the energy of the hammer spring was most likely used to force the bolt/side lever into place and no harm, but I would still check to make sure the breech o-ring is still in place. Since all the action of the hammer spring was used to force the bolt/side lever into the breech, it is unlikely that the valve was opened and the breech seal was lost, but check it anyway. I did lose one on a Fortitude in a similar fashion, but I really don't remember the exact details of that incident as I have never repeated it with that gun.
My best guess from my own limited experience and none with the airgun you are using. (smile)

I did that once to my Brocock Sniper XR. Didn’t do any harm but I wouldn’t make a habit of doing it.

I wouldn't think it would be any harder on them either way hammer it hitting same amount of force with or without being loaded only difference would which direction the air is coming out ? I don't know?
