N/A Dry firing an ASG CO2 revolver

I bought this ASG CO2 model revolver (I wont insult by using the Dan Wesson name here) and it arrived DOA (gun was locked up tight) .
Amazon refunded my money with no problems and told me to keep the gun since returns were not being accepted for this one.
The gun sat for months not finding any replacement parts (cylinder rotates in BOTH directions but wont index with trigger or hammer pull).
I'm using it now to practice my trigger technique with dry firing. Maybe I'll learn to fix it one day. I figure it can't do any more harm.

i will tell you i love the look of the 715 but it makes no sense and here is why

why the hell don't the barrels match the length of the guns
i spend a lot of time on a UK forum and the boys in the UK are huge replica gun buyers and love the 715 but for the barrel length in pellet of course the 2 and 5 inch are close but the 6 inch is not
and i am not a huge cart style loading system

in any case good luck been nice to post with you
