Dry Firing Taipan Veteran

I have recently purchased a Taipan Veteran from one of the members of this forum and I am familiarizing myself with the operation of the bullpup. I come from the PB world and certain models had caveats regarding dry firing.
Am I able to (can it damage) dry fire (press the trigger) my veteran with an empty mag cylinder in the place or will it cause any issues? I am awaiting my scope to arrive and really want to check out the trigger based on all of the reviews raving about the trigger. Ultimately I don't want to damage it by being impatient.

Thanks for the feedback that is what I was hoping to hear. I want to be careful as I saw there are some specific requirements when tuning the Veteran (I believe it was adjusting the hammer spring) requires the hammer to be de-cocked before turning the threaded tension adjuster. I just want to be sure I wasn't going to blow a seal or o-ring out of the action by not having a pellet in the mag when firing.

Thanks for the feedback, I lucked out and the purchase included the bullpup and all of the boxes and manuals. I read what was available and checked out the Taipan website and only saw the same small 12 page manual that unfortunately doesn't offer a lot of info. If you happen to know of other threads that I have missed covering any tips or tricks I would appreciate that too.

Sorry, I misread your post - I thought you were waiting for the rifle to arrive....not the scope!
