Tuning DS Regal Factory Regulated Hammer Spring and Hammer

I've got a call into AOA to ask the question, does the factory Huma regulated Regals and Reveres run a lighter HS and or different hammer than the regular Regal XL FAC guns??

I regulated mine a few months back myself but just went back together with the original spring and hammer. Has anyone had their spring and hammer out of the new FR guns to look it over? Mine seems to working fine as is, just curios and looking for any possible improvements.

Between the 12fpe and FAC Regals, the hammer springs are the same. It's only the hammers that are different - the 12fpe hammer is quite a bit lighter. I think this is the picture of the 12fpe hammer below:

If you are running a lower reg pressure, you might be able to get away with the lighter hammer??? I ordered it from Bagnal & Kirkwood. (Although I sold my Regal with all of the extra parts about a year ago when funds were tight )

Haven't heard anything yet, Could be that due to not much of a plenum space and limitations on the discharge of the valve port and the barrel port it may require the higher regulator pressure if you want to maintain the velocity.
