N/A Dual Options Big and Little

So as this rabbit hole grows deep and trying to understand a starting point as new to all this.

Would like to be able to use as both paper punching and hunting ( big & small game ) and able to moderate to due to other half is super sensitive to noise.

After reading multiple search results and web video things, and looking at the used market to start. Still trying to decided on the interchangeable barrels to do both big bore and small bore or a single caliber capable of both

Looking for something that has modular setup, more bull pup type for compactness, and removable magazine

What are some thoughts in this area.

Never seen a big bore going off in person but videos appear to indicate considerable boom. Check out video reviews on Benjamin Bulldog, Umarex Hammer and AGT Netvor to get some idea of noise levels. Not uncommon for new owners of big bores to ask on forum for any effective "backyard quiet" moderators, not aware of any success in that regards. Best of Luck, WM

@gtcontender Please define “big and small game.” Naming the animals would be helpful in understanding what you’re asking.

You will definitely have to decide if you will plink or hunt more because using a big bore to plink with ammo will be quite expensive for larger calibers. As asked above, your quarry will help determine caliber(s). I use a .22 to do both but my quarry is usually ground squirrels to starlings, good ammo for .22 is still reasonable to plink with. Slugs also narrow the gap between calibers for power needed to take game.

Big and small game out of the same gun? While possible, simply a unicorn to most. You might consider your practical uses for your prospective PCPs and go from there. You may consider thinking about it as tools in a tool box. Up to medium size game, coyote, coons, etc. Practical, big game? While doable, is impractical and expensive…

Constant Acceleration Pneumatics 9mm CAP Recluse. From their website, it'll shoot a 68 grain round ball at 1189 fps or a 209 grain bullet at 350 fpe. I'm sure that's on the high power setting, so on one of the lower power settings, it would probably shoot a bit slower and give more shots for small game like rabbit and squirrel with a round ball. On high power with a bullet, it would be legal and more than adequate for your deer in Tennessee. I don't know about quieting it much or how many shots you'd get, but at least it'd cover you for big or small game. An AGN member had one for sale (sold) a while back and also had a youtube video with the same gun. I'm hesitant to post names or links here, but you can find the video pretty easily and search the classifieds for the ad.

Fair enough, looking at more deer size critters medium size 150lb nothing trophy size, small mostly things of the down to a few squirrel and a rabbit or two, pest control things in the chicken coop, plinking would be just something to occupy a bit of time on the rare day off.
We have a Texan .357 Carbine with a Donny FL Emmeror V3.
Its the quietest big bore I ever heard. Pushes 150 grains at a high of 870 fps.
Shoot deer in the brain the go down where they stand.
I would not shot them anywhere else with a .357 unless they were in a huge feild and I could see where they expire.
.357 leaves nearly no blood trail to track.
