Eaglevision Infinite Adjustability Rings.

Well, no secret, i've been a big fanboy of Eaglvisions side mount inf adjust rings. I like the two pinch screws which help prevent inadvertently pulling the scope out of it's Zero. That said.... one needs to pay close attention to actually torquing down those two pinch bolts.
Yesterday however i encountered a problem... i went to swap scopes between two different airguns and discovered the pinch bolts had some how screwed up the rings = as in locked up the height / tilt adjustment feature... I haven't contacted Eaglevision yet.... but this problem occurred on TWO sets of rings which required i actually replace the rings.

The next thing that'll happen is the brittle hex bolts will snap off in the ring like mine did.

So FX has a similar type ring... they are worse because they use a single pinch bolt... they slip easy.
Sportsmatch also has a dual bolt pinch system...
i think the weak link (pun intended) in all of these designs is aluminum which can deform a bit given enough pressure is applied... the bolt snap you mentioned could be prevented with a torque wrench used to specs? Dunno?

hmmm...i have a set that became a little loose, so i cranked them tight...I will probably have that same problem if i ever try to re-adjust them:oops:
Video from Eaglevision via email says you have to loosen the height adjustment and pull the rings into the highest position BEFORE you attempt to remove the bolts to avoid damaging the rings. Once removed they say you can file off the offending material… well that’s not happening. They sent me a picture and video but darned if i know how to upload the video?

I had the first iteration of the FX adjustable rings that slipped over months. That was frustrating when I finally realized what had happened. It was on a first gen Impact that had POI shifts like crazy so the problem was hard to narrow down.

The Sportsmatch adjustable rings have been flawless.

I'll offer a Scope Mounting Table
for
Elevation Adjustment (Cant),
for 30mm tubes,
with preference for low mounting.

🔸The Table attached below includes the amount of adjustability in moa, the resulting mounting height, and pricing.

🔸There are also options when having a gun with a dovetail rail.

Cheers,

Matthias

PS: Last year MTC Optics and Vector ("X-ACCU") came out with adjustable scope rings as well, in the next edition I will include them in the Table.
